I had a realtor come to my house today to possible list it to sell. When we went out in my garrage she saw all my gear and said you wakeboard to huh? I said yeah do you? She started telling me how she went w2w this summer and bought herself a new board...its was cool listening to her talk about it. By the way...She was smoking Hot...Gonna try and get her on my boat next summer.

kylielogan 11-08-2006 2:55 PM

selling your house just to meet wakeboard chicks? that's a little drastic, don't you think?

poser007 11-08-2006 3:07 PM

Hey Kylie...gotta do what ya gotta do..by the way...I think Im your favortie rider since I can do a Raley!!!!!!!

jsimpson7 11-08-2006 3:44 PM

in that case..i am your favorite person too!! Kylie.

stephan 11-08-2006 3:52 PM

Yeah John you'll probably do. Stats seem about right...

Daniel, respect. Only problem is many girls get into it because boyfriends are into. Do some groundwork as it would suck to invite her and end up with some over-protective D-bag on board.

poser007 11-08-2006 3:58 PM

BH actually she is married so I was kinda kidding, her husband is a loacal plumber in town. The only thing i have besides being better looking then him lol kidding...is they own a bayliner ha ha ha ha (Hey all you bayliner people, Im just playing)

11-08-2006 4:01 PM

bayliner....hahaha thats rad

treycleaton 11-08-2006 4:31 PM

spin2win 11-08-2006 5:13 PM

I do agree it seems like so many people have boats. And what I find amusing is the trick list that absolutly everyone can do. It seems like everyone thinks they are pro riders. I wish wakebording wasnt such a pisssing contest down is so cal. ( there are a hand ful of great riders down here) chances are your not one of them Im not either. I am going to throw up a question to you all. DO you remember your first 3 or roll? When you landed your first one you all probably took 100 falls b4 landing your first. But you deserve the right to claim it.I am tired of people claming S%^t that you cant do b/c you need to earn the right to claim it. Thats my biggest pet peave about our sport. BIG EGOS.

If anyone want to ride on thanksgiving for some fun hit me up.

poser007 11-08-2006 5:34 PM

Well Spin truth be known I can barley go w2w....Im just happy to be out in the water and that my knees are holding up.

sixeye 11-08-2006 6:07 PM

Spin,
Thanksgiving Day or one of the days of the 4 day wkend? And where? I might be down for showing you my vast trick list (ya right!).

BTW, it's a little more mellow down in San Diego. We're not really worried about everyone's trick list. We ARE insistent that everyone on the boat have fun, regardless of skill level, and even if just along for the day and doing no riding.

Daniel,

A HOT agent, huh? I wonder how many interviews you will insist on before you make your decision (she had you at "hello", no doubt). And I wonder how many offers on your house you are going to turn down so you can keep socializing with the hot agent!

socalwakepunk 11-08-2006 6:08 PM

"I wish wakebording wasnt such a pisssing contest down is so cal."

Please, explain...

wakedad33 11-08-2006 6:56 PM

Daniel, Raley? Oregon riders really know how to work the system.

poser007 11-08-2006 7:51 PM

LOL Alright Randy only in my dreams but who knows maybe Kylie is Hot so I had to try lol

kylielogan 11-08-2006 8:07 PM

daniel: ya, i'm hot, and you're my favorite rider cuz you can do a raley (or so you say) ...
john: ya, YOU'RE my favorite rider cuz YOU can do a raley ...
spin: i can do a half raley (i.e., faceplant) - does that count as a trick?
big heavy: sigh ... what can i say dude? WORD!

duffy 11-09-2006 6:00 AM

I love girls who can rip...

stephan 11-09-2006 9:25 AM

escapade4k 11-09-2006 12:15 PM

I have to chime in on this one...
After moving from NorCal to SoCal this summer, I have found just the opposite to be true.
#1-People have been great about inviting a stranger (me) come out on their boat.
#2-The guys on the boat have been very supportive of each other because they have all been at different places in their progression.
#3-No one has thought that they were all that because of the boat they have either.
I think of SoCal riders as friendly, helpful and happy to be out on the water
I'm actually using my experiences to try and convince the boyfriend that he will enjoy wakeboarding down here.

socalwakepunk 11-09-2006 1:03 PM

Tell it Kristin!!!! Don't know what exactly Spin's problem is, but my experiences down here for the most part have been way chill. Glad to hear other people having a good time in SoCal.

Let me know if/when you want some Canyon Lake, be glad to hook up a happy SoCal sista...

socalwakepunk 11-09-2006 4:34 PM

lizzyb 11-10-2006 8:12 AM

I guess the Raley is totally lost on me. Yes, it's a good trick.. but I don't understand why women seem to be generally impressed by it.

Got Focus.. aaahahahaha that killed me.

stephan 11-10-2006 8:28 AM

Don't worry liz, Ant will get it one day... then you will understand.

lizzyb 11-10-2006 8:46 AM

I have seen a Raley before Stephan.. come on. I'm just much more impressed with other tricks.

stephan 11-10-2006 9:03 AM

You & I both know that as a female that is entirely impossible. Please, lets keep the status quo intact.

lizzyb 11-10-2006 9:48 AM

I never said I was a typical female.. I'm special!

I will say, Brandon Poser throws some of the most impressive raley based tricks I've seen.

v220ls 11-10-2006 10:35 AM

I agree, with most of you not a super tech trick.
Just the commitment, big speed, big air and once the boards flicked out it's staying there tell you big it back or oh s--t the water helps you out.

You can under/over rotate inverts, miss handle passes, but a raley its full commitment. I think that trick is the devil.
here's one however the blur... factor may be the same.
p.s. not me.
G

kylielogan 11-10-2006 10:59 AM

liz - dunno why i like it so much. i just think it's a cool looking trick, even though there are a lot more technical tricks. the raley is the only trick, other than w2w or w2w 180, that i have any interest in learning. maybe i need to start my own "kylie likes raleys" thread, then i could really judge who my favorite rider is! (p.s. big heavy - blowing me kisses, then winking at liz in the same thread? u player! )

lizzyb 11-10-2006 12:13 PM

Stephen is a ladies man.. you didn't know?

Not knocking the Raley, I think it's a nice looking trick.. I just know so many girls that go nuts over it and I don't understand their enthusiasm.

socalwakepunk 11-10-2006 1:16 PM

stephan 11-10-2006 1:56 PM

Ahh yes, my internet mojo is at a rare high these days. What can I say. RESPECT.

Oh and Daniel, I too had that pic up on MySpace. I had to get rid of the whole acct as I was getting marriage proposals from people in all corners of the globe. How does one grabbed 3 pull so much around the world? Big Heezy skills, thats how.

My how this thread has evolved...
