I am a Beginner/Intermediate rider that is trying to pick between buying a 2006 Hyperlite Motive 140 with standard bindings and a 2004 Hyperlite Fluid 137 with hyperlite spin bindings.
is there a reason why you've limited your choices to 2 old set-ups?
Ya, i'm gettin it from a friend for almost nothing. Short on cash but still want decent board. Dont have a lot of options! any suggestions appreciated
I would go with the motive, its the old murray shape.... there is a reason they didn't get rid of it
the fluid is also the old murray shape.
^ but they got rid of it didn't they?
so are they pretty much the same board or is one more advanced than the other? the fluid looks like it has better bindings and is in better shape so i think i'm gonna go with that unless someone knows if there is any real significant difference, i'm kinnda clueless and looking for advice haha

thanks guys!!! one more question, do u think a 137 is to small of a board for someone about 6ft 175lbs
i would do the motive because it has the molded in fins on the corners while the other does not
