Corrosion X

Any of you guys and gals who live on the coast use this stuff? We ride in a brackish water and always wash thoroughly after riding. After 4 years the only "trouble spot" we noticed was where the slides are under the driver's seat. Long story short, we just bought a new LSV and I'm looking into using this on a few areas to be a little more proactive. What's better, the trigger spray bottle or the aerosol? Seems like the aerosol would cover better, but I'd also be concerned with getting it on the upholstery. Thoughts?

My budy and I used it all the time when I lived in Galveston on both of his dads fishing boats. After every time we took them out. We liked the aerosol, but we were dealing with hardocre fishing boats with very sparse interiors so interior wasn't much of an issue. When we had to hit tight spots, we just sprayed some onto a fresh rag and coated what we needed to. Its a staple item for just about everyone I know down here and on the coast that owns a boat

Sounds almost too good to be true. I googled it. I can spray it right on my amps, etc. so they won't corrode? Hmmm...

Also used in the aviation industry in the Gulf. It works. No need to be skeptical. Rejex is also a great product if you ride in chocolate milk or let your boat sit in it for a few days. No more scrubbing the hull to get the stains off. We use it on the noses of GOM operated aircraft to aid in insect debris removal. Slick as snake snot.

I got rid of my steel slides and installed a salt water unit. The originals are cheap but they do not last. No amount of cleaning or spray will keep the cancer away.

My dad uses it on his cabin cruiser he keeps down on the coast ( Near Galveston Bay). Everyone in his Marina swears by it. I use it on my current boats on battery terminals and put a light coat on the tower and racks ( applied with towel) My boat sits on a lift almost year round. I had some waverunners I used to keep down at my parents marina that I used to cover the motors with it, kept them looking brand new. I used the corrsion x HD ( regualr spray bottle). It's thick stuff.
