yeah yeah! Thats right guess who just bought their first skate. ME! I got a Cassette 43" 3D Concave. I rode a 41" concave a couple weeks ago and it just seemed really short to me so when I went to buy one I just got the next size up. I can't wait to get out this weekend and ride. Since I've started skating the only thing I've brought the wakeboard out for is sliders otherwise it's pretty much sat. Man I haven't been this stoked about riding since I started wakeboarding. And you know what else, when I wakeboard sometimes I get bummed cuz I don't have a huge wake and I get frustrated at trying things that I have done behind better boats but can't pull it out behind our little Reinell. But w/ skating I don't get that way. Hell its a challenge just to clear the wake at 60'. I just think skating opens up a whole new door, ya know what I mean?

(Message edited by detonate69 on June 06, 2003)

I hear ya bro. That's what it's all about - new challenges.
The 41" might look small to you now, but once you start riding them the smaller board is more responsive. I'm about 145 lbs and I'm thinking of dropping down to a 40" from the 41". The first time I rode a skate a couple years back it seemed ridiculously small.
Just a thought.
Yeah I'll probably ride this one for a while then if I start to get more technical in a year or so I might go shorter.

Just thinking about all of the new tricks you can do without bindings has got me excited. Its really a challenge
