Some riding of my buddy, Kody, and I from earlier this month. My third set after a 10 month hiatus... stoked to be back!

I saw this on the St. Johns about 3 weeks ago, I seriously commend you guys for riding that river this time of year lol. I'd prob do it too, but still scary when you have 12-13 footers laying around. Awesome video none the less!

Was that you on the tantrum to blind sketchy unwind in the flats? Can I know what was going through your head at that time? Much respect on the kung foo death grip on that one!
|
Thanks everyone! Glad y'all like it
Dave O, we saw a few gators while we were out there. I've heard they're a little more aggressive on that river but each one we saw steered clear of us. Either way, they're motivation not to fall too often! Delta Force, haha yeah that was me. It wasn't as sketchy as it looks on the video, but it definitely got me a little bit puckered! |
Great Vid.... How does that Epic Turbo Diesel Run?.. Any fume probs?
|
Charlie Zulu, Thanks! As far as the motor goes, not a single problem! I was shocked to find out that the fumes were no different than the average gas engine. Other than putting different fuel in the tank, I didn't see any difference between it and any other engine... sounds, fumes, smells, performance... nothing is different. Fuel consumption is noticeably lower than a gas engine, which is definitely convenient and probably the only difference I can take from it. Plus the fact that it's a V6... just weird since all of the boats I've been behind have big V8's!
