Flowrider?

I was thinking of doing a podcast, taking the crew to check out the flowrider and have some fun, but it says the doors are closed? Does anyone know if they are opening back up, or just a catastrophe in this economy?

They went out of business. A friend of mine had a birthday party there last year. Sign of the economy.

definitely a bummer. james and i were riding it at least once a week for a few months. sooo much fun.
frank was getting out there a lot too.

I ride one several times a year at kalahariresorts.com here in the mid-west. Definitely different! I would say more like snowboaring than wakesurfing/surfing. It was fun but really not that big of a deal that you're missing out.

I use to ride at Kalahari in sandusky, but they won't let me use my flowrider surf board so I pretty much quit and just surf behind the boat.

I miss the flowrider.
