Anyone in the Eugene, OR area?
 

I have been fortunate to spend my summers in Wisconsin in an area full or rivers and lakes; however, this summer I am interning at the University of Oregon. I don't know anyone in the area and have no idea what the riding scene is like out there. Does anyone have any ideas? If anyone is in the area and looking for a third or would be so gracious to lend a pull I am more than willing to pay gas, help out with taking care of the boat, etc. I will be there for May, June, & July. Thanks for any help you have to offer! I don't want to go a summer without riding!

Hi Natalie. I don't know if you'd call what we have here a riding scene, but there are several riders in the area. You will find some at Fern Ridge to the West of eugene, some at Fall Creek to the East, and Cottage Grove to the South. We generally ride at Cottage Grove (after the weather warms up a bit). I have a pretty large crew, but you're welcome to jump in with us if someone doesn't show. That is if you don't mind hanging out with a bunch of old people. Email jonw2@att.net.
