How is the water temp in mid April here? I am looking to set up a board trip in Arizona somewhere until things warm up here in Denver. Any other good boarding lakes around this area that are somewhat warm this time of year.

We generally make a trip to Roosevelt every april. The water is great! Nice and cool weather not rediculously hot. Its a great lake and great time of the year to go.

Roosevelt is great during the summer but in april it still may get pretty cold at night and the water will be pretty chilly from the snow run off. What kind of boarding trip are you looking for? Id recommend bartlett or sahauro theyre both only half hour from phoenix so you can still have some night life and hit the lakes during the day bartlett wont be crowded at all midweek in april

Good info to know. I am looking for something not to crowded and possibly trunking it. Anyone have any suggestions? This will be my first board trip in Arizona.

Im trunking by march out here. Saguaro will be the warmest but it will be full of poser mobiles, Roosevelt is a fun weekend trip for the summer but I would reccomend staying in scottsdale and hitting up bartlett
