I nutted up and tried a few raleys this weekend, and actually I believe did everything right, except the pull down. I got layed out really well, felt like, but never pulled down, I guess I thought I would feel it more towards the end of the trick. I ended up doing a headfirst dive at 100 mph... One of the guys in the boat that can do them said that I should try to snap it back down right after I pop out, just curious if that sounded right to yall.. thanks

hmmm, I never worried about pulling it back down. I'm only about 155 lbs so when I'm laid out (like my profile), it does not take much of a tug at all to get that board back underneath me.

Did the handle pop off your hands?? You have to really hold onto that handle like it's your life I think. That's the one thing I focused on when learning this trick is to hold on really tight. Even if you screw this thing up with your edge into the wake and stargaze it, if you hold on tight, you can still pull it back most of the time.

You might try pulling it back in as soon as you get layed out.

If you edge correctly there isnt much of a pull needed to pull it back down. Its kind of like a pendulum effect. really get that progressive edge down and as you go up in the air you should feel your peek and you should just need to bring your handle to your knees, no need to tug or pull it hard
