My port bag fills but wont empty. Appreciate any advice on trouble shooting. My boat is about 200 miles from any shop, so if I can do it myself that is preferred. All I see is one pump, which is used for all three ballast bags, white bottom left of photo. There are 3 cylinodes attached to plumbing (2 are visable top middle of photo), all three cylinodes seem to engage when each ballast switch is turned on/off, though pump doesnt turn on only when emptying the port bag. I have this exact same problem to a tee. I fixed it this weekend, kind of. First, under the dash, there is a fuse box for the ballast system. there are 6 fuses in it, 3 30 amp fuses for the fill pump, and 3 10 amp seperate fuses for the 3 seperate evac pumps. check the fuses, it is likely that one of the fuses are blown, that would be the one for the port side evac pump. try replacing the fuse, if it works, then problem solved, if it simply blows again, like mine did, you have yourself a burnt out evac pump. Now you have to find the evac pump, follow the evac hose, you'll have to take off the wooden boards that seperate the engine from the ballast area. you'll find a 12v Rule seacock mounted aerator pump, part number 203FC,that is what they use. you gotta replace that pump. In Ontario I am having a very hard time locating this pump, likely will have to order one off the internet. took me about half hour to do this.

I say kind of fixed it because i took the evac pump from the ski locker bag and switched them. so now my ski locker bag doesnt empty.

fuses blow for a reason so it likely isn't just the fuse. A fuse will blow if their is a short in the electrical system, or if the pump is blown, causing the short. good luck with the fix and no problem...

Had the same problem with my Supra and it was the fuses, but the had worked loose. When mine was mounted at the factory, it was not level and caused the fuse block to warp. It got to where the fuses would work loose every other time out. I bought another fuse block at the auto parts store and haven't had a problem since. Check to see if they are seated and that they are not loose when wiggled. They should be some what hard to pull out.

Andrew..you're right. I replaced the fuze and thought all was well until it blew again. Anyone happen to know how much the 203 FC pumps cost?
