Soo im done everything on my winch and it runs perfectly!! Can someone give me a good lacquer, primer to use when going to paint the frame. I don't want the paint to chip and I want the color to last. Should I use a latex?
THanks

Have it powder coated.

yup, strip it back down and have it powder coated if you want it to last

powder coat will be the best but if you want to paint it. use a oil base paint and primer. industrial oil base paint.

powder coating is your best bet.
ive also heard of people having it rhino lined, that will last even longer then powder coating, but both will cost a pretty penny,

if you want to go semi cheap, use rustoleum(Spelling?) paint and primer, it works pretty well, and its fairly cheap

how much have people paid to have it powder coated? My price coat for a sandblast and powder coat was $150, depending on which color I choose.
