grant_west 11-14-2007 7:17 PM

Hey Shawn: What did you decide to do as far as a system in your new boat?

eargasm 11-14-2007 7:28 PM

Hey "G"- Still haven't finalized everything yet. Right now just running wires, moving batteries, adding charger, bigger alt., etc.. I'll post pics once we get started. I do know were're doin 6-12's in the boat possibly 8-12's.

eargasm 11-14-2007 7:33 PM

Grant- Great profile pic, what a day!

sidekicknicholas 11-14-2007 7:40 PM

what is happening in that pic???

eargasm 11-14-2007 7:45 PM

That would be my boat &amp; Mikes' Bu gettin dunked by the "Bonecrusher".

azpowerhouse 11-14-2007 7:54 PM

"Bone Crusher"? <BR>Must be an epic.

hp_inc 11-14-2007 8:04 PM

X-Star...sacked out.

grant_west 11-14-2007 9:50 PM

Shawn: I change my profile pick all the time. I just have happend to have changed my pick earlyer today. Before you started this thread. Pretty funny. <BR>6 12's Wow that will hump pretty good. What Amps are ya gonna use? Drop me a line if you need any help.

hawk7 11-14-2007 9:54 PM

wait whats heppening friday?

azpowerhouse 11-14-2007 10:06 PM

"bone crusher" nickname came from where?

jarrod 11-14-2007 10:10 PM

We have the dates! But I'm afraid we won't be releasing them anytime soon. <img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/biggrin.gif" border=0> <BR> <BR>One thing is for sure. We'll be putting Shawns boat on the trailer before the DU contest starts this year. <img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/uhoh.gif" border=0> <BR> <BR>Shawn, are you working on the new system or what?

dakid 11-14-2007 10:11 PM

cie winter ride...i'm down, as long as it's somewhere warm. <img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/lol.gif" border=0>

eargasm 11-15-2007 3:59 AM

Grant- I'm shooting for an all Zapco boat. Subs, 6.5 components, EQ and amps.

grant_west 11-15-2007 8:19 AM

Shawn: if your gonna run W-7's I recomend that you choose another amp other than Zapco or choose a diffrent sub. IMO Zapcos dont like to run in 3 Ohms.

jarrod 11-15-2007 8:28 AM

Jason, <BR> <BR>CIE Rider Allen Bishcofberger shattered his Tibia on his first set behind our new X-star. A wakeworld member (don't remember who) named our boat the "Bone Crusher." <BR> <BR>Now some family on the Delta owns it. I was sorry to see it go. That 8.1 litre X-star is the sweetest ride I have ever riden behind.

azpowerhouse 11-15-2007 8:54 AM

Cool, just curious, sounded interesting. <BR>In that pic , those boats got rocked.

allen 11-15-2007 9:27 AM

Jason here ya go, it hurt, still does actually. <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65919/519890.jpg" alt="Upload">

grant_west 11-15-2007 9:35 AM

What's funny is the Bone Crusher still returns to the seen of the crime. The people that bought it have friends of ours at Tulloch. I saw the Bone Crusher 5 or 6 times over the summer at Tulloch. When I see that thing the "Jaws" music starts playing in my head and I turn my boat the other way. <img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/rofl.gif" border=0>

jarrod 11-15-2007 9:48 AM

hahah...<img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/rofl.gif" border=0>

guido 11-15-2007 1:32 PM

Shawn, why just 6 12's. I'd go for all 8. Ha, ha, ha. Can't wait to hear that thing. <BR> <BR>I'd love to do a winter ride. Maybe we'll see if we can hook something up in a couple months. Some houseboats at Pedro for a weekend could be a lot of fun. <BR> <BR>Spring Ride is coming and it's going to be bigger than ever. We'll announce dates soon. <BR> <BR>I thought the "bonecrusher" name lost it's allure after the first one, but the sequel seemed to carry it OK. We'll see how round three turns out this year. We'll be sacking the new one deeper than ever. <img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/wink.gif" border=0>

bigpapaf1f 11-16-2007 9:26 AM

"We'll be sacking the new one deeper than ever." <BR> <BR>I like the sound of that!!! Can't wait to ride "The Crusher III" <BR> <BR>"I'd love to do a winter ride. Maybe we'll see if we can hook something up in a couple months. Some houseboats at Pedro for a weekend could be a lot of fun." <BR>What about McClure?? I know a guy who has a HB there that we could stay on!

brianmiller 11-16-2007 8:16 PM

Come on give up the dates. I have to plan my daughters birthday party around it. Missed it last year. Right now it's my goal for first time out after ACL surgery.

jarrod 11-17-2007 9:12 AM

There are a couple of factors that prevent us from doing so at this time Brian. We need to figure some things out first.

brianmiller 11-17-2007 8:31 PM

Yeah I totaly understand. The event is getting big and you guys do a great job putting it together. When it's only November and there is already postings about it, you know its a good time. I will make it one way or another this year.

rnopr8 11-18-2007 7:40 PM

Ouch...tibial plateau fracture.....they did a nice reduction...how are you doing Al?

allen 11-19-2007 8:30 AM

Um I'm doing all right, I had another surgery at the end of august, was off it for a long time but back on my feet in PT 3 times a week and just started riding my dirt bike again which is helping also. Hopefully I will be riding again in the spring. Thanks for asking, <BR> AND YES Spring Ride will be Bigger and Badder this year, we'll keep you guys posted. <BR> Thanks for all the CIE support.

zride 11-19-2007 4:59 PM

<img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/lol.gif" border=0> <BR> <BR>man oh man.....I would be down for winter ride too. Keep the squids at bay...bring out the dry suits and see who can man up in the cold....delta style...that would be sick.. Like when they all went out for that disco delta winter day back in the "GW" days .....it was calm as hell but freezing arse!...sic sic sic....The system and zapcos all i can do is laugh....lol cant wait for next year. Hope all is well....isaac <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>(Message edited by zride on November 19, 2007)

Is the Bone Crusher III another X-Star?

jarrod 11-20-2007 3:44 PM

We don't have it yet, but yes.

dscorni 11-21-2007 8:21 AM

BCI will be roaming around beautiful Lake Tulloch this weekend for some post T-day festivities. Anyone needin' a pull give us a shout out. Ricky at the bar will point you our way.

deltagrubber 11-21-2007 9:07 AM

I'm sure it will be huge like the others, looking forward to seeing pics of it when it arrives!!

guido 11-21-2007 10:18 AM

Ahhhh, BCI.... Now that's a boat. That wake was un-real. How's she treating you Dave?

jarrod 11-21-2007 10:53 AM

oh, got it! Dave owns the original crusher. <BR> <BR>I'm jealous. That was the best boat ever.

dscorni 11-21-2007 10:53 AM

Evan, BCI is awesome. Everything you guys said it was &amp; more. <BR>Like j-rod said above, that 8.1 is sweet.

wakeeater2003 11-22-2007 1:19 PM

You guys going to actually ride at tulloch? We will be riding all weekend. In either a red 2003 X-2 or a 2001 blue X star. Looks like the weather should be decent and I will have the hot tub running for when I get back to the house after our runs. Later, Mike
