What can anyone tell me about Lake James. I may rent a house for a week.

I'm not sure if the lack of response means everyone's riding or if I have the lake to myself.

well you did only leave 3.5 hrs in between posts but try out www.endofropegang.com there's a bunch of NC riders on there that can answer your question.

can't help you with Lake James. I am familiar with Mountain Island and Lake Tillery if you ever want some info on those lakes. I am curious about Lake James myself. Let us know if you end up going how you liked it. Might be worth a trip up there sometime.

Looks like I will be there mid September. Rented a house and a Wakesetter to boot. Won't have to pull my boat 500 miles. I'll report back.
