Where do you guys do your priting if you happen to do it online? I've used Adorama before would good luck but was curious about others. Mpix?

I'm looking to print some 11x14 B&W's.

So do most do their own prints?

Mpix, use the Ilfords BW paper. It rocks.

Mpix is great...the metallic paper is also very sweet

xcharrier 06-10-2008 4:44 PM

+1 for Mpix. I use them everytime.

Thanks. They are quite a bit more expensive than Adorama, but I think I'll give them a shot.

But it you notice, they correct your prints before they go out.

I have never had a off color or wrong density print come from them. You really get what you pay for.

PS: order a free paper sample kit. You will see the difference in the paper type's (E-color, Illfords, and Metallic)

Thanks Rich. I want to try that B&W paper you mentioned. I'll let everybody know how it turns out. Here is one of my choices for printing!

First one. Even though the second is pretty damn cute. Haha!

rson 06-11-2008 3:35 PM

Or do those, add another picture and make a storyboard.

Nice Rich! That's a good idea. How and where do you get to print a storyboard in those dimensions?

We have two white 11x14 frames that I want these B&W's for that will go on either side of her window. This is only the beginning of taking and printing pictures of her for sure!

rson 06-11-2008 4:18 PM

Mpix has a 5x10 or 20x30 or 10x20 the bigger the better.

Or get them canvased at Mpix I have all my SB's canvased.

White House Custom Color has been really great to us and VERY reasonably priced. You can check them out at www.whcc.com Nice shots too by the way!
