Blue-green algae

Just saw a news piece this evening about lakes across the U.S. getting infested with blue-green algae. I've never seen any in the lakes/rivers in the Central Texas area. This stuff is no joke and people and animals are getting very sick from it.

Its all over Kansas lakes in the summer. It has steadily gotten worse. Closed a lot of the lakes last two summers.
