Texas Mid-Summer Classic Competition??
 

Does anyone here have any experience with the SetxWakeboard Mid-Summer Classic Competition? We were thinking about riding over to Beaumont to check it out and to see if it is something my son may be interested in doing as a novice.

i've never been to this competition, but i've ridden comps at setx plenty of times before and i love it! perfect size lake for a good pass there and back, and rails you can winch

Mid-Summer is probably the best tournament I have experienced. The lake is long, deep and protected. The rails sit only few feet from the beach and spectators. There is room for RVs, BBQ, Tents, washers, parties... That and the entire tournament is coordinated by a Pro-Am level rider (Elliot Dollar). It runs so that top level atheletes get top level conditions to throw down. Even though it is out of town, it has become the Marquee Houston event of the season.

If you want ride, spectate, camp or party, it is a great event to check out.
