I have an extra danforth style anchor with chain that is free to a good home. If you are in Southern California, and you want it, email me. I would prefer not to hassle with shipping it, but if you are willing to pay the cost we could probably work something out.

josh@gotriver.com

What the heck is a danforth style anchor? I might be interested, and I can make the transition easy. I stay at Emerald Cove on the Parker Strip.

I just got back from therelast night. Water was pretty good at 6am, water temp was great, outside temp hot, winds in the afternoon. Great trip.

Ray, a Danforth is an anchor that rotates on a pivot so it can grab the bottom regardless of how you toss it in. It is pretty common, and might be the same style you have now.

Someone has already claimed it, and I have one back-up. If none of those pan out, you are welcome to it.

Josh
