this is unreal, my friend had her sanger strait stolen from its lift this weekend, and I heard another boat was taken from the dock at the launch ramp. according to the sheriff this it sounds like this is happining often. If you are keeping your boat on a lift out here i would figure out a way to lock the boat in the slip...

There has been a rash of similar stories from around the delta lately. I had a friend whose was stollen off the dock in broad daylight.It seems that the thieves are mostly stealing them for the stereo systems. People I know are now talking about using the cable type "gorilla lock" to lock their boats to the dock. If your friends boat had a large system talk to the local shops and tell them to keep an eye out for the missing stuff.

Can't you just engauge the track drive system and pull it up on shore??? JK-lol <BR> <BR>My brother-in-laws X10 was mistakenly taken out of storage an put on the marina dock. When it went unclaimed it spent the night on the dock and went missing - stolen.
