I need some help grabbing my r2r. I figure the easiest place to grab would be method. I've got my r2r's dialed but have only tried to grab them a few times. Two of those attempts came yesterday. One I ended up falling and missing (chasing) the grab and the other I stalled out (not getting the grab either) and landed on my back without flipping. <BR> <BR>So I have a pretty tall approach on my normaal r2r's. For the grabbed ones I tried to come in more seated and not loading the line as much. Should I be looking at my board until I get the grab and then turning my head to flip? Any grab suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated. <BR> <BR>If you can wait for the download, one of my r2r's is at 2:14 in this video. the way I look at it is changing my approach angle. Approach the wake more like a spin and less like a backroll. They way it makes sense to me is to not point your nose away as much. Come in with your nose more towards the boat. you can cut proper and pop without as much load on the line. Jump into the handle and grab before you flip. I find it easier to do switch since I naturally cannot load up as hard that direction.

Thanks Bro. I will give it a try. My body stays really long in the air during inverts so it's very hard for me to suck up my knees/legs when I'm in the air. Back in the day learning to stand tall had me over-exagerate the straightened legs part which has made grabs and spins harder for me now.

What - you can't just reach down and grab your board????? <BR> <BR>*sheesh*

I guess my Hyperheavy makes for harder grabs than your 3 oz. Ronix board!
