can you get your knees up any higher ? or wait just a little longer to put your feet back down ? It almost looks like your feet are coming down to quick and catching the board wrong it kinda looks like you're stopping the rotation of the board a little early. I could be completely wrong but that's what it looks like to me

I'm with Montgomery on this one. You have nice pop, and the rotation is money, but you are catching the board to early and slamming it down.

Focus on letting the board get the full rotation, and then catching it. Other than that it's a pretty good shuv.

I will try it.

Thanks-

the pop and rotation is sweet!! how fast you riding?
|
21-22ish?
I dont know for sure.
|
catch it with a wider stance
|
I don't wakeskate, but i do skateboard a lot and when you shove it looks to me like your feet are reaching in front of you to catch the board when you should be jumping forward with the rotation of the board, but I dont wakeskate so I'm not sure

I will post up another video.

I need to catch it with a wider stance, but i cant seem to do that on the water.,....:/

Ethan, the trick is to not bring your feet up and click your heels together.

scoop it with your back foot going behind you and forward and then get your back foot back out wide and ready to catch it so you land just like you were riding before. the trick to landing wide is to never let your feet get so close in the first place. youve got it!
