I am Looking for a looser fitting binding, but with decent support. I tore my ACL in the 06 Zeus, so I want something with a little more flex for next season. I like the idea of the vantage, however I am concerned about the velcro holding up. I have ridden the 07 factions and liked them a lot. Any thoughts between these 2 bindings would be much appreciated. <BR> <BR>Also, I have a size 11 foot, should I go with 10-11 or 11-12 for the vantage. Thanks!!

Can't comment on the Factions, but the Vantages have been unreal! Comfy as hell, and flexible with plenty of support. <BR> <BR>The velcro was my concern also, but hasn't been an issue. (started rockin them in March) <BR> <BR>I wear a 10.5 - 11, and the Large fits perfect! (10-11) <BR> <BR>Hope this helps

The 08 Faction was improved over the previous year. The added the Switch Hinge, that points down &amp; cleans up the lines. They added the smaller 6 inch plate. The CWB boots are second to none when it comes to durability. I've been using mine non-stop since November and they look like new. <BR> <BR>Never ridden the Vantages and have heard good things about them.

The 08 Faction boot is really nice, great flex with great support. <BR> <BR>I would go with Large in the Faction.

I have the 08 factions and they are unbelievably commfortable, really good support, with enough flex in the ankle to tweak tricks.

I've been riding the new 08 Faction Boots since late last year. This season I rode them 3-5 sets a week and they still show no sign of abuse. They held up well. Just enough support, but not too much. Easy in and out. I'll definitely ride the Factions again in 09

Support wise I think you're going to get about the same out of either binding. <BR> <BR>Both bindings are super easy to get in and out of. <BR> <BR>The vantage was the #1 selling binding this year out of my store and I have had no complaints about the velcro holding up.

j rod your not rockin the embers anymore? Last time i saw the bc3 tied up at union point the transcend had embers. My girl wants those super bad

Ya caught me! Embers are Factions with girl graphics. I've got a thing for pink and black right now.

Do they make an Ember that fit a mens size 11???

Embers only go up to large. I wear the larges with a size 10 foot. There's a little extra room, but you should try a pair on first. <BR> <BR>The factions go up to XXL.
