What are the guidelines for the different divisions at the Canyon Lake Wakeboard tournaments? Masters 30-39 are allowed how many inverts? Are inverts allowed in Veterans? Where can I find this info?

If you can do it then go for it. There are masters and Vets at Canyon that throw inverts.
here is the web site
http://www.wakeboardclub.com/

I checked the website already and didn't find any trick lists or division guidelines. I even x=checked the WWA website.

what time does everything start on Saturday?

The classes are all by age, not ability( jr mens I think is like 14-19, mens 20-29, masters 30-39, vets 40-49, super vets over 50). Unless you ride in one of the novice classes.

The tournament usally starts about 10 or so, but if you want a practice ride you better be in line by 8 sharp.

I'm 4o years old...... Veterans is an option, but usually there are limitations to the number of inverts/ spins allowed. I've ridden Masters in some tournaments cuz inverts weren't allowed for Veterans. So, it's an anything/ everything allowed, just compete by age division?

wakestar8878 09-16-2004 1:48 PM

Yes, unless you feel you can run with the open class.

dadthedriver 09-16-2004 2:41 PM

Like I said Jeff If you've got it you had better throw it. Masters are thowing inverts.,

starts at 10 but be there by 8 if you want a practice run.

Joe - what do you mean you're out? Jeff said he would ride Veterans (he'll have to deal with Fred). You would still be stuck with my sorry ass in Masters, and Aaron's on his game anyway.

Jeff - Like Shawn said you can ride your age division, or if you feel you are up to it (read: grabbing your inverts, throwing mobes) Open.

(Message edited by socalwakepunk on September 16, 2004)

whooooo... thanks for the props joe, but Open definitely not an option! Just an old intermediate rider that hasn't grown up yet! Maybe a few solid inverts and a couple 3's but they hurt when I don't land em! AS I remember joe, you ain't no slouch rider yourself! Definitely gonna try to make it- Veterens ride in the am?

The classes rotate every tournament, so I'm not quite sure what the order will be.
