My recent build was actually moved up a few weeks (started mid March) so I wouldn't generalize too much on that front. Haven't seen this on PN yet. Seems odd for it to snap there. wonder if defective material or design issue with respect to engineered strength of shaft itself given extra weight of these boats and torque put on prop..

Yup.. I'm the other guy and will back up his statement. Now - they were putting custom orders ahead of stock boats.. but that's normal. Ours came in almost 2 months earlier than expected.

Probably from being towed back to the dock from where the shaft fell off through a bit of weeds.
