I have a LSV, but a VLX may be the same. I put in a Fluid Concepts bag with both fittings on the aft end. My question is do the Blue Magic fittings go fwd or aft of the dividing wall?
The original set-up had the pump "neck" go thru the wall, then fitting on the bag side. Also, the original drain was at the other end.
It seems to me there would be less interference with the bag if you pushed the neck/fitting of the bag thru the wall and had the pump and Blue Magic on the aft side. Any experience with this?
Also, did you route the "fill" tube and fitting thru the wall , or just let it cram up against it on the fwd side as it filled? Thanks, scott

Scott,

We have had several people ask us this so here it goes. For the Malibu MLS, the original fill tube is in the front. We didn't care for that since it is difficult to reach, secure, and connect the fittings to the bag that far up in the locker (there is no access). To install our bag, the front tube can be simply routed to the rear of the bag, behind the dividing wall. We typically drill a hole into the dividing wall above the existing drain hole. We then install the fill line through that hole and install the blue fitting forward of the dividing wall. I don't see any problem with installing the blue fittings behind the dividing wall as long as the holes are not too rough.

We sincerely apologize for the confusion to those of you who have these bags and our instructions will be updated accordingly. Feel free to contact us at 800-284-6615 if you have any more questions.

J.Lembas
Fluid Concepts
www.fluidconcepts.net
