AWS Boat Buyers Reunion 6/25 - Pics

Our local dealer Active Water Sports http://www.activewake.com/ http://www.activeh2o.com/ had their annual boat buyers reunion this weekend. It is about time we had nice weather. I snapped a few pics on my phone to share. It is cool to have an event to pull the boaters together.
Started with a show and shine, then to a barbeque, then a raffle and then a cruise on the water in Portland as a group.

That is awesome they help set up something like that. They must dominate the wakeboat market down there now that they are a Malibu, Axis, Supra and Moomba dealer.

They definitely have the largest market share here in the Portland area. They have Nautique now too. They also own the market here for the pro shop. They have tons of options and even a private lake that they host events, lessons and allow people to rent out.

Very cool. I like that they had everyones boats and tow rigs out then went to the water, smart idea.

damn, they have nautique now too. No wonder they ditched MB. Who is the MB dealer in Oregon now? AWS really has no competition other then the Mastercraft dealer. The pro shop in Longview doesn't sell many boats I am guessing and the Tige dealer is in Stayton which is pretty far out of the way. Is there a Calabria or Centurion dealer anywhere close?

Portland Ski Boat Center is really their only competition on boats in town. They actually picked up MB and now sell MB and Mastercraft. AWS is a one stop shop though. Lots of boat lines and everything pro shop and they host cool events like this.
I don't think there is anyone in town selling Calabria now. There is a new Centurion dealer, but they specialize in yachts and bigger boats, so no real traction. Yeah the Tige dealer is too far out of town for most people here in Portland. I am surprised they have not tried to make the move into Portland Metro.
