Well, I started wkaeboarding this year and I love it. I really want to put a pylon in my boat but its pretty old and my dads worrying about damaging the floor with the force of pull by the pylon. We tore the boat apart two years ago and we added two stringers and replaced a lot of the floor because it was rotting. We also had to replace the engine support (where the engine is bolted to) anyways I was just wondering how much force is exerted by the pylon on the floor, and if you think I'd run the risk of doing some damage to the boat by installing a pylon. Any help is appreciated.
I had an old boat and I wanted to put a highpole on it, but the windshield would have gotten in the way of the support cables. So I put a universal tower on it instead. Have a look at this crazy thing. I bought a new Supr Air Team Edition last year, but this baby is still sitting in storage in my driveway.

there really isnt much force on the floor, its all on the bow of the boat. the base plate just holds it in place and the cables do the work.
