Dude.... It's what makes the world go around. All sports have sponsors and sponsored athletes that are pushing product. <BR> <BR>If you can get out there and support those that support you, then good on ya..... If you're getting free product flowed your way, then there's a good chance that you're putting a lot of time into the wake scene. Remember, even "free" product isn't free.

oh, and serum's defunct and double-up's only available overseas. the next best thing to a double-up is the murray, which is pretty darn close to the old nelson design.

the watsons have treated me very well and are still in excellent condition but i do want to try other bindings. although, once you've found really comfy bindings, it's tough to switch.

I collect boards...so these are beyond words when it comes to describing. I'm sure you're familiar with the blue board? It's the one that was in the wakeboarding mag buyer's guide back in 1998...legitimately one of a kind because they didn't go into production (one shop in iowa wanted one and that was it). <BR> <BR>both are stan pleskunas shapes...the other one has weird velcro strips and originally that board had transparent hooks attached to them...that crap was ripped off and replaced with traction pads. <BR> <BR>A little history that makes me smile...<IMG SRC="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/happy.gif" ALT=":-)" BORDER=0> <BR> <BR>I also still own solbounds based on joe's recommendation (just kidding joe, I made that decision on my own). ;) <BR> <BR>PEACE!
