If you were to travel about 3-4 hours from the Dallas area, where would you go for a long weekend to ride? We have been to Broken Bow a few times and love it. Just looking for something new. Thinking about PK. Anywhere else?

may be a bit further than what you want but lake ouachita near hot springs Arkansas is awesome.

Lake Bryan! <BR> <BR>Actually, its a nice lake with camping spots. Also, with all the damns, there are tons of spots to get decent water.<img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65919/542362.jpg" alt="Upload">

Caddo, Caddo, Caddo. 125 +/- miles east of Dallas near marshall. Miles of the little cypress bayou to ride on. It is protected by 100 cypress trees and is about 300 feet wide. State park has good facilities too.

I'll second lake Ouachita We go there at least once a year and camp, it's really awesome. Water is super clear, but it can be a bit cold.

dude im from bryan also and we are there twice a week at least in the summer and i love it being only 5 min from the lake but you can suggest a 700-800 acre with some crappy camping spots over lake travis, lake conroe, lake lewisville........ you get the point.. lol
