nvs gone?
one of my tyrants has a blown driver. I guess nvs is gone? Dwain's email bounced and nvs1.net is non operational. Anyone have a contact for him? im happy to buy a new driver, I just dont remember the brand/models he used.

Mainly Eminence if I recall correctly.

I just talked to Duane. Super nice dude and loves to talk audio...I can PM you his info. I won't just post his number on forums.
He will get you set up with what you need. I really wish they were still around. |
Awesome! I love my NVS, and will never go with another pair of speakers if I can.
|
For some reason I can't seem to PM on this computer...I will give it a shot later.
|
Tim, log out and then back in and see if that helps.
|
Thanks Brett - that was the trick.
pm sent. (to the op) |
Im certain he used Eminence for some time but yours may be different. Doesn't it say on the back of the driver?
|
Parts Express carries them if it is Eminence

Later on NVS used some Neo midbass drivers that you may have trouble sourcing. These would be extremely expensive today. Don't overlook getting the speaker re-coned as an option to replacement. Re-coning automatically replaces the fried VC and can be as good as new.

ya, they are eminence. its all coming back to me. on the tyrants, one set is like the old 1010's and the other is like the addictions. Still my favorite speaker.

I have my Prodigies and Deviants up for sale, all 4 of them will fit on a 230 tower, and i live just down the lake from you, haha.... |
worm, what are you going with? do you still use your boat? im just getting the wake itch back ;)
|
nope. probably putting the boat up. completely broke down the stereo system. 2x prodigies, 2 x deviants, 2 x 15" Ascendant Havocs, 3 x DC1100.1s, 1 x DC 1000.4, 1 x 9.0, 8 AGM batteries, 2 x SLBU, 1 x Audio Control Matrix, 1 x Zantrex charger, 8 x huge fuses, and more 0 zero gauge than i care to think about is sitting in my garage.
i have heard too many people that were adamant that morning butter is the only time to surf (which, by the way, is toobing for grown azz adults hahaha). we almost exclusively use the sea doo for wake skating now and the 230 just sits. oh, and i am addicted to two wheels for the time being...its DH mtn bike season! |
