Break the ice!

We are finally seeing one of our lakes ice off here in UT. I was just looking through my pictures and thought we need to post up that one pic that makes you want to get out as soon as the ice is off. Not the best pic out there but a day I will never forget!

What lake is this? My girlfriend and I our toying with the idea of moving out west next year and SLC has always interested me...

That there is UT Lake, it's the first to freeze but the first to thaw. The lake is between 8 - 10 feet at high water mark. We ride there a lot being it's like 30 min from SLC and i have buddies that live almost on the lake. SLC is a great place to live with 6 lakes within an hour or so.

^ and a 3 month riding season. Yuck!

Luker ~~ 3 months for the normal people... We ride from march to December, if the lake is liquid were getting wet! Check out my site www.downfortheride.com for the most recent pics when we rode Dec 22nd just before the lake froze!
