Searching

I notice that when I run a search and I am any further than the 1st page of the search results, when I enter a thread then backout it takes me back to page 1 of the search results. Very frustrating.

I don't have that issue with any of the browsers I'm using. What browser are you using? For some reason your browser is re-doing the original search when you go backwards.

Same thing always happens to me as well. I am using the most current Mozilla Firefox.

Also, thanks again David for the board racks. Put them on the boat a few days after the arrived in the mail and they look great.

If I go to Search (http://www.wakeworld.com/forum/search.php) and type in 'Tige,' I get a ton of search results and the URL at the top of my browser is as follows...

http://www.wakeworld.com/forum/searc...earchid=269402

Now, if I click on page 3 of my search results, the URL at the top of my browser is as follows...

http://www.wakeworld.com/forum/searc...2&pp=25&page=3

Now, if I click on the first thread on page 3, the URL at the top of my browser is as follows...

http://www.wakeworld.com/forum/showt...highlight=Tige

Now, if I click the back button on my browser, as expected, it takes me back to the previous URL, which is...

http://www.wakeworld.com/forum/searc...2&pp=25&page=3

I can't explain why any browser would choose to jump back two pages instead of one in this situation. I wish I had an answer for you, but I don't. Perhaps someone will chime in with a little more knowledge, but it doesn't appear to be anything related to the forum software. By the way, I'm using Firefox 11.0.

Using internet explorer. Interesting. Just tried using firefox and it appears to behave as should. Thanks. Looks like the issue is indeed not on your end. Sorry for the "blame".
