Does anyone know how the dealers do gel coat repair. I have a few cracks that will be fixed under warr. and the dealer said they just grind it out and patch it in. Is it noticeable and the gel coat is white.

If done correct you will not see the repairs.

If done properly you shouldnt be able to tell. From my experience with my boat(s) grinding and patching gel coat isnt always a permanent fix. If there is a really bad weak spot it will continue to crack again and again. It all depends on the location I guess. Mine have been by the tower mounts and the swim step mounts.
