I would like to ask about this audio processes for a boat? It will work great w/ my head unit (Alpine CDA-9886) and a friend of mine has all the other equipment needed to set it up.

Is it worth it to do in a boat? That is my question, to tell you the truth I really don't know what to expect. Could it work in an open air environment or does it need to be in an enclosed area like a car?

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_500PXAH...or.html?tp=428

Thanks

i would pass.. your system would benefit from high quality amps, speaker, and attention to installation.

a boat is not that critical of a listening enviornment compared to a house/car

Thanks Clubmyke,

The reason I was looking at this was because I will have 3 alpine amp, 2 Kicker Tower speakers, 4 kicker cabin speakers. Last year I had 1 amp for the tower speakers and the 4 cabin speakers and it sounded pretty good. So I decided to add the other amps and I friend of mine said the imprint would make it sound all together and clearer.

i seriously doubt it would help..

the only time i have found processing to help is with delaying the mids/highs 3-4 milliseconds and changing the phase (allowed for mid-bass to sub intergration) with my beloved eclipse 8053(last of the eclipse balanced head units)..
