WakeWorld - Return of The Yak!!

A Yac is a Russian / Romainain Stunt plane.

Well a friend of My is in the Market for a Real Yac. I thought it would be fun to build him a RC Yac for a B-day present. So I bought one and built it up. It took about a week to build it. I would spend a few hrs on it each night. It was a fun Time waster. and I glad I got a chance to do it. I even got a side profile shot of him with out him knowing and made a Pilot of him in the cockpit so it looks like he is sitting in the plane, LOL

So I give him the Plane fully built and ready to fly. He is super excited but dosen't feel like he has the skill's to "Test Fly" a new plane. I say Ill test fly it and trim it out and make sure it fly's straight and then he can have it.

So I take off and the plane fly's perfict. I zoom it around do some roll's and flips it checks out Perfict. I fly it for about 6-7 min's I have a timer Normal full charge flight is about 10 mins
Time to land!. Some guy see's me flying and parks his SUV in the center of where Im supposed to land to check it out. Suddenly I can feel the plane is a bit slug-ish!!! Im thinking What's going On!!! Then I remember in all the excitment I forgot to check the Battery for a full charge before take off!!!! O crap! NOW I can't land and I need to and have to go around! The battery' is Now dying and I can start to feel Im loosing control of the plane. Im no where near a good place to put it down and trying everything to turn back and get level and I stall it. Game Over!
The plane falls from the sky about 40 feet in the Air out of sight . We do the walk of shame to go see whats left.The plane is JUNK! I feel like a complete IDIOT!

I take the broken pieces home and remove all the stuff I need and This is where the plane end's Up. SAD!!

So to get over my Sadness 2 weeks later. I had to Re-build The Yac and my RC self Worth!
And in the process I built a Sukoi Su-31 for myself LOL The good old 2 for 1 build. This weekend WE FLY!!!!
