take a look at this video that was posted on teamtalk. Guy are from Quebec so video is in french.

Go to 6:00min into the video for the surfing. Looks like they have a lot of wight in the boat. Sacs on seats, under seat, lockers etc.

I wasn't that impressed, maybe with a little
More speed it would look better. But with THAT much weight i would expect something insane. I'd take the wave behind my 20V over that any day

for a wakeboarding centric boat it wasn't bad... a centurian would be hands down better with that much weight.

x-star was design solely for wakeboarding and not to be multi sport like some other boats in the marketplace. example nautiques have good surf and boarding wake.... some good cross over ski and boarding....
