Once I turn off my boat after it is warmed up it will not start back up until it has cooled down approximately 30 minutes. After about an hour of pulling riders it will hesitate a little and then turn off. I opened up the engine cover and heard a whining sound coming from directly under the oil filter I believe it is the oil pump or fuel pump I'm not sure. There are hoses running to the filter and from the filter to the engine. My boat is a 06 mobius lsv 325 indmar. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

How is your engine temperature?

Take it in. It might be it's not getting the proper cooling.

Temperature is fine none of my gauges are indicating any problems. My mechanic believes it is the fuel filter. My boat has 140 hours on it with the original fuel filter. He's checking to see if it's clogged witch is the reason the fuel pump keeps kicking on. The wining I heard is the fuel pump coming on trying to keep constant fuel pressure. Hopefully that's the problem I'll keep my fingers crossed.
