Wetsound's Syn6 advice needed...

Last year around this time I bought a new WS Syn6 to power my 4 JL 770 interior speakers and a JL 12w6v2 sub. This year I ran across a great buy on a JL 750/1 mono amp and I bought it and added it to the boat with the idea that more power is better.

I thought I would add another pair of interior speakers so that the Syn6 would live up to its full potiential but the pair of REV 410's that I now have would simply drown them out.

My latest thought is to buy a JL HD 600/4 for the interior speakers that would give me 150watts per speaker over the 105 watts that the Syn6 is currently providing the interior.

I can always sell the Syn6 or put it into my fathers Cobalt who's stereo is total crap but thats a different story.

Should I keep the Syn6 and wait for the Sinister Series four channel or run with the JL HD 600/4 or configure the Syn6 differently?

How many interior speakers are you running? 6? 8?

If you have six interior speakers, couldn't you just bridge the entire amp down to 3 channels?

I'm running 4 interior speakers total. One pair in bow and one pair in the cockpit area.

The JL Audio M770s really come alive in dynamic range and midbass attack with 150 watts per speaker. There may not be a better marine coaxial/component WHEN they are powered to their potential.
If you bridged the Syn6 smaller four channels into two channels and ran two speakers at 4-ohms plus ran the two larger channels into four speakers with two paralleled per channel at a 2-ohm load you would have no less than 150 watts per each of six in-boats. So effectively you can do with your existing Syn6 amplifier all that is needed for six in-boat 7.7" speakers.

You have plenty of power already if the syn6 is only needed for your interiors now that you bought the 750.1 for the sub correct? Bridge the syn6 down and add another pair of inboats.. The 7.7's run best with 125-200 watt range... No need for another amp...
