Great shots everyone! # 1 was taking to long to open, time for #2.

Post them up.

this is my first run with the new camera so take it easy. Just a shot of the cabin next to my parent's.

I got a new camera as well...should have some B/W shots to post up soon. :)

Scott what new body did you get????

Spicing the B&W up a bit and throwing in a few IR shot. This is the first 35mm roll that I've shot with IR and fairly happy with the out come. The last shot is a long exposure digi to show that I'm not all analog.

Here's a couple from my weekend in Bear Valley.

OK I'll bite how do you remove the color from the photo except for the rider on the board?

If you use photoshop, use the selection tool, and draw around the person. then go to select at the top and click I believe, select inverse or inverse. Now you have the picture around the subject selected, then go to image and b/w it. I'm doing this over my lunch break and don't have Photoshop on my work computer. Hopefully I got that right from memory. ha. I'll double check it tonight!

Old Rainier Brewery, Seattle, WA
 

Was in Seattle last weekend, visiting my sister and shot this while on the roof of the old Rainer Brewery building, now known for Tully's Coffee. My sister lives here and there is so much history there.

Jaime, I would like to see your shot in landscape. Not sure on this prospective.

jjakober, what effect/filter/plugin did you use on the grab picture for the darker corners? Sweet shots

This is with a Cannon Powershot camera and I was playing around with the stock MS Photo editor software. It came out good, but I would love to upgrade to a DSLR. Looking at getting a D40 as that is what is in my price range.

He's 3 1/2 years old and weighs about 85 lbs. but is a puppy at heart. Easily the sweetest gentlest dog I have ever know. Tank rocks!!

One from Proxy Falls last weekend, kind of hard to get to but worth the hike.
