http://www.airdock.com/

anyone using this....our boat is in a double slip and the neighboring boat is pretty close....

we arent allowed to have traditional hoists anyways but this seems like it would work and have always wanted something small that would get the boat out of the water.......

lemme know what you think....

Looks like a good idea, but you would have to watch out that none of your underwater gear(tracking fins, prop, and rudder) don't snag and rip the bags, just a thought though...

Never mind, I read a little further and noticed the video with the inboard, looks pretty good...

(Message edited by Ryand121 on May 04, 2007)

I just bought the front mount 4400# Hydrohoist lift for my X1 and love it. It takes up less than the 10' you usually have in a double slip and works like a champ.

I have an Airdock that I keep my Calabria on.

As mentioned above, you have to be careful about getting the airdock properly setup. If you don't have the weighting correct, or if you try and force the boat on/off you WILL puncture the bladders. Airdock inlcudes a patch kit with quite a few patches...and patching is an easy process once you have the bags out of the water to work with them.

I know the patching process all-too-well from experience. I put a major slice in mine during the initial install. We also punched 2 holes in the bladder by catching it on an exposed bolt on the dock while carrying it to the slip.

Bottom line, the airdock works great...as advertised. Follow directions, and DON'T FORCE THE BOAT. One more time, if it's not working right...DON'T FORCE THE BOAT!

Ken at Airdock responds quickly to support and setup questions. We have it figured out pretty well now, so feel free to PM me with any questions.
