Spent a week at the lake over the 4th and finally got to try wakesurfing. Got the wave dialed in pretty good and was able to let go of the rope no problem and surf till I got tierd but.......The nose of the boat is so high its really hard to see over, REALLY hard for my girlfriend who's only 5'1". Is this normal? Or do I need more wight up front to bring the nose down a bit? Thanks for any advice.

Have her standup and wear heels.

The nose will be up because of the weight in the back. Adding more weight to the nose will reduce the wake height, but will lengthen the pocket. There is a trade-off between the two.

I sit on the back of the seat when driving to see better. Also try placing a 'booster' seat on the seat. One gal that drives for me sits a cooler on the seat to sit on.

Thanks for the response. She does sit on the back of the seat and I also have a booster built into my seat. Even my friend whos 6'3 had a bit of a tuff time. Actually the wave has plenty of hight but could use a bit more length so I think i'll try more weight up front. Thanks.

Oh and I like the heels idea, think i'll see if I can get her to do try that as well. Might be a little distracting when im trying to surf though?

I always vote for lengthening the pocket over a stump of a steep wave...it is a preference. weight in the bow to counter balance weight in the stern is a constant...it is a matter of ratio. DO IT BABY...and the 'heels' gig, too!
