I just purchased a Hyperslide wakeboard made by Hash for my son who is just starting in the sport. Is this a good board to start him on. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm not sure what kind of board that is, but I started on an old hyperlite with 2 removeable fins with no molded fins and blindside boots which were terrible. The board really doesn't matter if you're just getting into the sport, and board will allow you to understand the feeling of boarding on water, I wouldn't waste a bunch of money on something amazing, but hey if you can afford it why not your son is worth it. All I'm saying is No, you do not need anything spectacular as far as boards go, the more important thing is the boots, make sure he has a nice pair with lots of support and mobility make sure they're his size too. My two cents anyway

--- Nick

Hydroslide boards are old molds by other companies. For example, the Renegade was the CWB Futura a few years ago. They work great as beginner boards.
