daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaangggg won't miss that rolling round the delta

paulsmith 10-02-2003 8:23 PM

Christie, you're killing me. Time to talk to my Malibu dealer again.

Seriously, one of the best looking boats I've seen. Congrats!

socalwakepunk 10-02-2003 9:06 PM

Dang, girlfriend!!!! Looks like you might even have enough room up there for my board too! Congradulations - when/where's her maiden voyage?

colorider 10-02-2003 9:13 PM

Are there any accesories that you skipped? That is one VERY nice ride. Probably one of the smoothest looking rides I have seen. Everything matches and flows perfect on the boat. Congrats and have a great time on your boat. You must be extremely excited to get that baby on the water!!!!!!!!!!

kimmy 10-02-2003 9:25 PM

NICE looking boat seeing it with the human eye. John and I just saw you on Hwy 4 getting off at your exit at about 6:20. Nice colors. Looks good behind your rig too. Congratulations!

tammy 10-02-2003 9:25 PM

Christie I so very happy for you!

Andrew, no she did not miss one thing on this boat. Did a stereo test tonight and I started walking down the street to see how far away you could hear it, well let's just say I got tired of walking and came back.

Congrats, Christie.......

cfisher 10-02-2003 9:38 PM

Thanks, everyone! I can't get the smile off my face right now! I can't wait to take it out on the water and get it broken it!

Tomorrow is the maiden launch......I probably won't sleep tonight

steveaz 10-02-2003 9:40 PM

Beautiful boat Christie! Congrats and enjoy it!

buttacup 10-02-2003 9:52 PM

Nice boat, I am drooling just looking at it

wes_the_gimp 10-02-2003 9:58 PM

SweeeeeeeT!!!!

Now for the longest 10 hrs.

wakehype 10-02-2003 10:22 PM

Christie... Wow, awsome looking boat. I am jealous!

supersport 10-02-2003 10:31 PM

Smokin Christie!

depswa 10-03-2003 1:42 AM

Christie are you married? If not..do you wanna be? My girlfriend won't mind as long as she can get a pull every once in a while!!! Just kidding.

That is one sweet ride! Maybe I'll get a chance to see it (or ride behind it) in person sometime. I was telling Buffalow that I want to come up for a few days to ride before it starts getting cold. Maybe in a couple weeks or so?

Don't forget to break a bottle of Champagne over the hull before lowering it in the water...oh nevermind the person that started that tradition obviously never saw your boat!

aquaholic 10-03-2003 5:40 AM

Very Nice! Yea, I was wondering the same thing as Dan?

forwaken 10-03-2003 5:47 AM

Congrats Christie and very nice looking VLX. Is that black on Charcoal? If so very good color combo. Looking forward to seeing you on the delta. Hopefully the tower and light bar and racks and etc. don't blind me... Maybe we could see what kind of spine two VLX's can throw out. BTW What shop did you pick it up from?

(Message edited by forwaken on October 03, 2003)

bobbyb 10-03-2003 6:45 AM

That is one awesome looking boat!

cfisher 10-03-2003 6:55 AM

Dan - HaHa...no, not married, but not really looking to be either...lol! You and your girlfriend are welcome to come and ride anytime. The only warning is that you might have to endure my son's "interesting" rendition of "I want to hurt you...I don't know why!"

I bought the bottle of champagne, but I think I'll just pop it open and toast instead

Chad - Yes, it's charcoal on the main stripe with black accent. I bet we could put up a fat spine...we will have to do that one day for sure!!

akman 10-03-2003 6:55 AM

Christie, WOW!!!!!

Congrats on the new ride it looks great.

10-03-2003 7:00 AM

They really only want you for your mind, anyway, Christy. Pigs.

cfisher 10-03-2003 7:03 AM

Thanks, Gramps....how's your new ride doing??

Chad - I picked it up at Ultimate Water Sports in San Jose. I'm very happy with the service from Dave and crew. Anyone looking for a Malibu should definitely head down that way!!!

cfisher 10-03-2003 7:04 AM

Swass - LOL!

baja 10-03-2003 7:33 AM

Very nice indeed! Congratulations, the new beginning of what is sure to become great times.

baja 10-03-2003 7:42 AM

Christie, is that tower polished or anodized? If it’s polished I would recommend a sealer such as Zoopseal to prevent oxidation, less polishing. It also works well on anodized material, but not as necessary as polished, just a thought based on my excruciating experience with a polished tower.

woundedknee 10-03-2003 8:06 AM

NIICE!!

hockeyruss 10-03-2003 8:51 AM

Wow that looks awesome Christie, hey i bet you did like me, ordered the boat to match the colors of your truck!

sickboy 10-03-2003 8:51 AM

Very nice ride Christie!!!

wakeripper 10-03-2003 10:01 AM

What a beautiful piece of machinery!! Excellent choice in colors. Congratulations!!!!

hatepwcs 10-03-2003 10:25 AM

That thing is Bu-tiful. Congrarts Christie. Screw the 10 hrs.

deepstructure 10-03-2003 10:34 AM

you're right, i'll bet you won't sleep tonight. i wouldn't either - i'd be up all night staring at it in the driveway!

jeff_altman 10-03-2003 10:42 AM

I would be sleeping in it.

jbillings 10-03-2003 11:56 AM

Looks great, Although I would have went with the Titan II. Get some new registration letters to match the kick assness of that boat. Malibu for Life.

poon 10-03-2003 12:47 PM

Christie, why is there a roll cage on your boat?

nice ride, can I sit in it sometime?

dococ 10-03-2003 1:57 PM

Yeah, and WHAT?? No rod holders? No trolling motor? Not even a dad-blamed fish finder? How are we supposed to ever catch anything in THAT? Christie, I think your priorities have gotten really screwed up. You should talk to a doctor about that.

robert7411 10-03-2003 7:40 PM

u got in san jose

robert7411 10-03-2003 7:40 PM

u got in san jose

cfisher 10-03-2003 8:30 PM

Bobo - It is the polished tower...thanks for the recommendation. I'll check that out!

The white registration letters are just temporary until they can be painted on.

I got 6 hours on it already today....it was soooo smooth on the water. I sure can't wait to ride behind it!!

Doc - the rod holders are on backorder

cfisher 10-03-2003 10:43 PM

Its ok.. Those stock speakers? Congrats on your purchase.. How are you going to weight it? What size engine? Whats the stock ballast? And what was the damage?

batman 10-04-2003 10:43 AM

She's BAD, that's right SHE'S BAD! Great looking boat!!!! I am jealous! Is that charcoal and black or all black? No matter it's sweet!

rob_c 10-04-2003 10:49 AM

Christie, you looking for a husband ? I always have gas money and can drive and service boats..

bbr 10-04-2003 12:07 PM

Screw being a husband, do you just need a boy toy? Thats a dope ass boat.

buttacup 10-04-2003 9:49 PM

Yes it is, saw it in person today while on the delta. Nice meeting you and your "football" crew, Christie. Your stereo sounded good and I'm sure you can't wait to ride behind it tomorrow....who needs to wait 20 hrs to ride behind it? I was in that red/white mastercraft near those big yachts today.

Lynsey

slipknot 10-04-2003 10:19 PM

You have a great looking boat as well as a nice rig. Is your Excursion Diesel?

Contest for the best rig, you have it hands down.

I think I need to wax my boat tomorrow, but it will not look as good as yours does just sitting there that's for sure.

Congrats on the purchase of the best wakeboard boat around!

lachlantait 10-05-2003 2:32 AM

Okay yeah yadah yadah yadah all the rest of the c|-/\p but why do you realy need EIGHT wakeboard rack spots? do you have alot of friends or is it just a typical yank thing?

forwaken 10-05-2003 5:33 AM

Good to see you got out Lynsey, sorry we couldn't hook up again, maybe next time.

Christie we will be out at Ladds/possibly Victoria's today if your around we will stop by and say hi. My boat is yellow with a charcoal accent and a yellow swoop tower. No blingage like yours though, except for the batracks, but they'll be covered in boards.

whitechocolate 10-05-2003 11:44 AM

Congrats On you new Boat: Is it a 04? If ist a 03 I understand. I thought the 04 Bu's were all going to have this gell coat?

ronnie 10-05-2003 6:50 PM

Nice ride Christie!!

Grant,
She has a VLX, your gel is LSV only.

ddragon07 10-05-2003 6:54 PM

man, i don't think i would ever need 8 board racks

lehmur 10-05-2003 7:33 PM

For those of you that don't know Christie, she frequently has 8 boards or more in her boat and sometimes that many riders. She is well-known for offering a ride to just about anyone who needs one. If you figure in 5 or 6 riders, which she typically has, each with a board, a wakeskate for all to share, and a surfboard or two there is plenty of reason for the racks.
Sounds like some of you just don't have that many friends...

alan_bogdanoff 10-05-2003 7:49 PM

Hey Christie,
Saw your boat today at Orwood.
Good on you!!!
Very very sick.
How does she ride?

cfisher 10-05-2003 8:19 PM

Lyndsey - it was nice meeting you too...hope to see you out there again soon.

HairBandude - no, I got the V10 instead of the diesel.

Chad - wish I had seen your post sooner...I would have looked for you for sure. Let me know next time you are coming out!

Thanks, Mike.

Alan - Yes, she rides GREEAATTTTTT!!!!!

greatdane 10-05-2003 11:02 PM

Regarding 4 racks, I am in total agreement. Four or more people on the boat can fill 4 racks with ease. Plus, there is the surf board and the wakeskate. If you ask me, EVERY boat should have 4 racks (now if only CC would make a tower that can handle 4 racks). On my shasta trip, a few weeks ago, we were in a constant pinch for board space with only two racks.

How was the stock wake Christie?

lachlantait 10-05-2003 11:09 PM

righto regarding my comments earlier about the whole 4 racks thing. down in aus we ride in rivers and most just chuck all there stuff on the bank and ride of the bank. i myself only have 2 boards but i only have ever taken both 2 out like maybe 3 times in the last year so i need no rack anyway.

10-06-2003 9:03 AM

Nice Christie... We missed you and the rest of the gang at Pedro. There is still time for some lake trips though. The water was 76 degrees and flat most of the day. Congrats on the new ride.

canaday 10-06-2003 10:14 AM

Sick boat, Christie

d_o_double_g 10-06-2003 10:38 AM

Christie... NICE BOAT!! CONGRATS.

What type of tower speakers / speaker box is on your tower??

Nice wedge Robert

xtremebordgurl 10-07-2003 4:35 PM

Robert, how did that happen?

eyesman 10-07-2003 4:45 PM

WOW. That is awesome.
Are you riding on Sunday?
Dave

robert7411 10-07-2003 8:32 PM

A RECALL FROM MALIBU

forwaken 10-08-2003 5:42 AM

My wedge came close to that. A buddy of mine caught it missing one of the screws before we went out last time. I should have it back in about a week.

gherk 10-08-2003 8:27 PM

You owe me a drink for that one.

forwaken 10-08-2003 10:49 PM

Name it, and it's yours foo.

greatdane 10-10-2003 10:51 PM

Christie,

I got my BU detailed this week -- cleaned up from the sun fade. So now the boat is nice for me. It is also nice for re-sale.

So, should I get a new BU?

How you have perfected the wake?
How do you cover the boat? Tower up/dn?
How big is the gas tank?

timmy 10-13-2003 4:14 PM

paul i am in the same situation, caught it with one bolt head missing
