Salvage / theft recovery boats
I'd like to do a diesel project and would prefer a all glass boat but finding project inboards is not that easy as I'm finding out.
Does anyone know of a source for finding project / theft recovery boats? I'd love to find a 23' deep v for surfing. |
You are going to need a dealer number so make friends with a dealer. Next is a $200 sign up fee. Then you are all set.
Go to Salvagedirect.com |
Unisurable:
You will have trouble finding a insurance carrier that will cover it even for liability only. |
inboards pop on here now and again

Another good one: http://www.auctionpipeline.com/
You may have to have a car dealer help you make the purchase. But you should be able to sign up for an account & check out the boats. |
www.amssale.com is another one

do boat hulls get registered anywhere? I have a Hull id card and a title for the trailer. INsurance does not care what kind of boat it is. Is that just me?

Fla. reg. boats just like cars.
