What year did Byerly get his first pro model?

97ish. It was a Wake Tech Flight 69

no its a byerly pro. the 69 wasnt a promodel.

I have an '02 that I'm either going to sell here or on ebay... it's in pretty good shape with the exception of a small petex repair. Byerly signed it, but the signature is almost completely faded from riding it...

Scott is correct. What is funny about that board & Gator's pro-model of the same year (the one that looked like a Gatorade), is that the only difference between the pro-model and the foam version is that in the middle of the board there was a small square of aluminum honeycomb that gave it the premium price.

I remember the aluminium honeycomb boards, light as a feather.. and about as durable
