hyperliteguy_04 02-15-2008 3:42 PM

mjmurphy53711 02-16-2008 10:42 AM

Wow if there is only 6 of you I rode with 4 of the 6 at Ronnie's place last summer.

All the guys were great guys and a fun time, being a Nebraska native (born in Lincoln) it was fun to take a ride there.

hyperliteguy_04 02-16-2008 10:46 AM

yea that sounds about right cuz i know that me and my friend wasnt there.

vanagonwake 02-16-2008 11:56 AM

hyperliteguy_04 02-16-2008 8:15 PM

sportydude 02-17-2008 7:10 PM

boardcrazy 02-17-2008 8:29 PM

You can add one more to the list from Lincoln. I am 35, but I am willing to ride with anyone whenever possible. I got out to Branched Oak/Pawnee and I have my own boat if there is ever anyone that needs a pull.

hyperliteguy_04 02-17-2008 8:34 PM

what kinda boat u got man? i dont have one but my friend does.

boardcrazy 02-17-2008 8:37 PM

Red/Black MC

boardcrazy 02-17-2008 8:41 PM

I can tell you one thing, I am ready for this weather to be done. Too much snow, too much cold, too much winter...I WANT SUMMER HERE NOW!

boardcrazy 02-17-2008 8:50 PM

As for trips, we love Table Rock Lake in MO. We make the trip 3-4 times a year. Great lake...It's big enough to get away from everyone to ride, and yet there are enough places to hang out with others if you want. It's a good time if you get a chance to go.

hyperliteguy_04 02-17-2008 8:56 PM

i heat ya on the snow.....i HATE IT!!!! its depressing i just bought push process and i just keep watching it over and over!

hyperliteguy_04 02-17-2008 8:56 PM

how far away is table rock?

vanagonwake 02-17-2008 10:36 PM

Used to go to branched oak but too many people and can never get glass. I prefur Blue stem. Small lake and only ever one other boat. I get 3-5 hours of glass as long as i'm on the water by 8am. can't wait for this snow to be gone but i have a feeling it will be around for awhile

boardcrazy 02-18-2008 12:58 AM

Table Rock is about 7 hours away.

I don't even attempt to hit the lakes on the weekends, it's just too busy. Friday night through Sunday has too many people waking it up. I try to get out during the week or early in the morning.

boardcrazy 02-18-2008 1:01 AM

Hey Keir, what kind of loans do you do? We are going to be building a house next year and will need a loan. If you can get me a good rate, I know someone that will give you all the free pulls you want...

hyperliteguy_04 02-18-2008 5:06 AM

7 hours isnt to far away....but like u said it would probally be pretty busy on the weekends huh?

vanagonwake 02-18-2008 8:22 AM

I work in student loans. Supervise collectors. Unfortunately I couldn't help you with the home loan. But hey if things change anymore I might just end up more in the banking area.....

badassstang2006 02-18-2008 9:36 AM

Im not from nebraska but i live in Kansas. This summer a few of us will be up in lincoln alot seeing are buddy thats at madonna Rehab center. What are some good places to go take are boat to or to go winch at? let me know some input

sportydude 02-18-2008 2:58 PM

ya, forgot about Blue Stem it is a nice little lake...just last time i was there, we were camping, a tornado was on the other side of the lake!

Im with ya man, i hate the snow, what happened to our last few winters? they were actually pretty warm.

boardcrazy 02-18-2008 5:09 PM

Jesse- It depends where you stay on Table Rock. I have found that staying near Party Cove/Kimberling City is nice. That way you can head up towards Cape Fare where there is less traffic. Weekends are like anywhere else, it's going to be a little busier.

Keir- No need for student loans, but you are still welcome to ride with us anytime.

Jason- I would say early mornings are safe on any of the local lakes, but if you are heading out over the weekend, I would look for one of the smaller lakes. Let me know when you're going to be in town, maybe we can ride together.

hyperboarder05 02-18-2008 5:32 PM

I see i have already been counted above but i'm now represented. i'm from schuyler but i go to school in seward. i loved Table Rock lake only been there once but it was great i plan to go many more times.

hyperliteguy_04 02-18-2008 5:57 PM

yea it sounds like we might try to get there this summer.....no plans set yet though. i just want to get the cold weather gone!

badassstang2006 02-18-2008 6:05 PM

ya boardcrazy i will let you know for sure. We are always lookin for new people to ride with. We usually go out everyday and ride and try to find new people to go out and hang with.

dirwoody 02-18-2008 6:27 PM

Yeah, Im out of lincoln, Looks like there's a lot more around than I counted originally! Nice to see.

I hit branched oak a decent amount, just because it's close, but I prefer Milford lake or Lewis and Clark up north, you can find good water most any time on those (unless the wind is out of the west on lewis and clark)

I'm definately hook up with some ore of you guys to ride

Right now I'm rockin a marius and a Roam, just got the roam but lookin forward to it!

dirwoody 02-18-2008 6:28 PM

Kyle, Last time I saw you riding at Beaver, you told us you were moving to Florida, was that just for the winter?

kyle_alberts 02-18-2008 9:23 PM

Yea. Well Im originally from Beaver so ill always be coming back there some during the summer to ride the rough over crowded water. But, I am pretty much going to be living in Orlando year round now.

joshbuzz 02-18-2008 10:06 PM

Shawn Keeler's runnin around here somewhere, I know he runs up in Nebraska with Kyle!!

Kyle, I might road trip up and ride with Shawn this summer, hope your there!!

shawnk 02-19-2008 7:45 AM

Yep, still running around. Let me know when you want to come out Josh! Usually out there three or four times a week.

vanagonwake 02-19-2008 7:52 AM

Thanks for the invite i'm always down for a good pull.

kyle_alberts 02-19-2008 10:17 AM

Skeeler, I didnt know you were still on here. Happy late one man! heard it was a good time. I should be back pretty soon bro for a little visit.

shawnk 02-19-2008 11:09 AM

Kyle, what's up? Ya it was a bender, good time by all. Got my little camera broken again, so that's always fun. Right on, talk to ya soon!

boardcrazy 02-19-2008 3:08 PM

It's good to see so many people on here. I knew that there were a lot of you that boarded around Fremont, but it's nice to see so many of you are near Lincoln. I am always up for riding with new people. If I am invited, and I don't have to work, then I am in...

hyperliteguy_04 02-19-2008 4:52 PM

im up for that if you could use another......if im invited also......i didnt know there were so many around here......its a good thing though

sportydude 02-19-2008 5:05 PM

Do you guys know of any camps around here?

boardcrazy 02-19-2008 5:05 PM

We have a ways to go before we can even think about getting in the water, but keep in touch and we can meet up and ride together. Anyone is welcome to ride with us. I don't normally have enough time to make the trip to Fremont, but anytime your in the Lincoln area we will have to hit the lake.

I miss boarding so bad right now it's not even funny. Probably sounds funny coming from an old man like me, but I love being on the water whenever I can. I might have to post some pics when I get home...just to help we get through to the winter.

boardcrazy 02-19-2008 5:09 PM

You can do them in Fremont with Ronnie's crew...never been to one, but he is a great guy and I am sure he's a great teacher. He has pros that come in and do clinics all the time.

http://www.wakeboardnebraska.com

hyperliteguy_04 02-19-2008 7:05 PM

The new WN boat is SICK!!!!!!!!!!

boardcrazy 02-19-2008 7:18 PM

Darin, how often do you go to Milford Lake? I have heard good things about it, but have yet to make the trip?

rorowake 02-20-2008 11:11 AM

Good to see all you fellow Husker riders out there... It's good you guys got a post goin on here so everyone can stay in touch. I'll be at the Omaha boat show here in a couple weeks, so if any of you are down there, stop by Valley Marine's booth and say hey!!!
And yes Jesse... the new boat is sick. Can't wait to put er to use!!!

Kenny... what's up man??? Long time no talk. Hope to see you all out on the water soon. This sub zero weather SUCKS!!!

hyperboarder05 02-20-2008 10:36 PM

I Agree with Jesse, That is a very sweet boat. i'm sure having that new piece of equipment is making you really itch to get out. plus i just got my copy of Updog, Nice work on that one. I'm lovein' it. it hasn't left my dvd player. It makes me just want to get out and ride.

boardcrazy 02-21-2008 12:35 PM

Ronnie, what days are the boat show? If I have enough time I would like to go. I love going to them and seeing all the new stuff..what's on tap for this summer?

boardcrazy 02-21-2008 1:00 PM

I say we all should try and keep this post going so we can stay in touch until summer. That way we can all do some ridin when it warms up. Also other Nebraska riders might get on and join in the thread. How about posting pics of yourself boarding...that should help us get to the warmer weather, or at least make us long for it a little more.

Here is one of me several years ago. Nothing special about it, but I have always liked it. It might look funny because I had to crop so it would not be too big. I not as much of a technological nerd as others.

Let's see some of your favs...

dirwoody 02-21-2008 5:17 PM

I don't have any fav's right now, but to answer your question, Last year we went down a few time,s I can't remember exactly how many. It's definately nice to board on as there are always places you can find good water, even during weekends such as Labor Day and such

hyperboarder05 02-21-2008 8:41 PM

heres one of my favorites. i agree we should keep this post going. i know its nice to talk to a few nebraska boarders that are going through the same withdraws that i am... and maybe some of us will meet up this summer for some boardin'.

h2oboy 02-22-2008 4:59 AM

hyperliteguy_04 02-22-2008 7:13 AM

alright well i really agree that we should keep this going.....meet up and board like that ben kid said....lol...but as for pics....this is only going to be my second summer boarding so i dont have anything special but ill look when i get home from work tonight.....

hyperboarder05 02-22-2008 11:10 AM

Ben Kid? come on Jesse you already know me!!!! haha

boardcrazy 02-22-2008 12:10 PM

Thanks Ben, I will keep that in mind when I have a long weekend want to get away to a lake that isn't too far down the road.

Looks like the only day I can make the boat show is Thursday, and even that is not going to be easy. I need to do some schedule changing to make it happen. I will see how things play out before then.

boardcrazy 02-22-2008 12:14 PM

Sorry, I meant thanks Darin for the Milford lake information.

boardcrazy 02-22-2008 12:18 PM

I have a couple 360 pics of me that I like also. I will have to throw one up when I get home. I lost those a few years back when I quit practicing them. It's tough to do the spins when you get older and quit throwing them on a regular basis.

hyperliteguy_04 02-22-2008 3:52 PM

i thought it was funny!!!!!!

rorowake 02-22-2008 4:14 PM

Kenny... what about your big ole raleys???

boardcrazy 02-22-2008 5:26 PM

Ronnie, I might be sandbaggin a little...I didn't want to bust one of those out and then have people think I have some kind of talent. All the tricks I know(which aren't many) are self taught. I used so see something cool on ESPN 2 and then I would go out and try it.

I guess what I am trying to say is that I have very few tricks in my arsenal bag because I didn't have someone that knew what they are doing teaching me. I guess I should have taken a few lessons from you and your crew before the my age started to slow me down.

I still love riding, I just can't attempt the new tricks as fearless I once did...it hurts too bad the next morning...or should I say the next week.

You need to get that http://www.wakeboardnebraska.com calendar updated so I can make some of your events this summer. With kids and my work schedule, I need to plan in advance. This summer shouldn't be as busy for me.

boardcrazy 02-22-2008 5:30 PM

Ben, that is some good air for not being pulled by a boat with a tower.

hyperboarder05 02-22-2008 5:37 PM

Thanks man. Its a pretty old boat, but i like it. i actually have plans to build a pylon for it this spring. we have got about half the parts we need,i'm gonna get the rest at my spring break and put it together that way its ready to go for the summer. i hope that will get me some more air...

hyperliteguy_04 02-22-2008 5:53 PM

and me................

boardcrazy 02-23-2008 2:25 PM

Let's get the boat out...oh wait, the lakes are still fozen over.

boardcrazy 02-23-2008 2:26 PM

Let's get the boat out...oh wait, the lakes are still frozen over.

hyperliteguy_04 02-23-2008 6:14 PM

spose to be nicer tomorrow man!!!!!

hyperliteguy_04 02-24-2008 9:39 AM

Alright here i am.....like i said nothing
special.

boardcrazy 02-24-2008 12:33 PM

Nice pic...I bet seeing pics like that makes you want to get out and board. I wish it would stay warm for awhile but it looks like it going to cool down again. Every time we have a warm day it makes we want to go to the lake.

Here is another old pic of me doing a 360. This was behind my old Crownline.

boardcrazy 02-24-2008 12:40 PM

here is the pic

boardcrazy 02-24-2008 2:15 PM

Looking at the handle makes me laugh...it's pretty small. On second thought, I better keep using them small handles, they make me look huge.
LOL

nwsjake10 02-24-2008 3:00 PM

Ronnie,
New boat looks good man, saw er up close last night at nicks railjam-it was a good time. How are things buddy?

backnmia 02-24-2008 3:03 PM

Born and raised in omaha for 20 yrs. Now in Miami, FL but my family is all still in omaha.

boardcrazy 02-24-2008 4:16 PM

I wish I was in Miami.

nwsjake10, I am guessing you work or own wake n skate? I am looking to upgrade my ballast system through Flyhigh and I know that you carry their stuff. Is that something you can help me install if I get it? I talked with someone at wake n skate on the phone about it a couple of weeks ago but I didn't follow up on it.

nwsjake10 02-24-2008 4:57 PM

Yea, I used to work at wake n skate back when we first opened, still do some holiday help as well..helping with events and stuff, just not my full-time gig anymore. But for the ballast at lot depends on what you are exactly wanting to "upgrade", what are you thinkin?

boardcrazy 02-25-2008 6:44 PM

I am looking at getting the X-Star upgrade for a 2006. I am sure that I will need the upgrade that comes with all the parts and accessories needed to intergrate it with the ballast system that is already in the boat. I want to hit the switch and have it fill/empty.

rorowake 02-25-2008 8:19 PM

things are good... just need this damn weather to warm up!!! headin to Orlando in April though to start filmin again... finally!!!
I have never been so pumped to get back on the water. This winter seems REALLY long.

check out FUel TV on Friday at 5 PM (The Daily Habit). They are doing a feature on Kyle Rattray and will be featuring footage from Updog!!!

h2oboy 02-26-2008 10:54 AM

(BoardCrazy) The complete X-Star upgrade ballast system that FlyHigh send's Mastercraft is available for $1,150.00
Includes: 2 custom rear v-drive compartment sacs, 2 custom front open bow sacs, 3 custom distribution flow valves , 50' of 1" reinforced black bilge hose, 3 check valve t-assemblies, 30 hose clamps and all the custom fittings

boardcrazy 02-26-2008 2:22 PM

Eric, do you have a brother that's a cop in Omaha?

h2oboy 02-26-2008 2:39 PM

Yes he is ..
