Looks like you almost have it. Try pushing your lead hip forward as you look over your lead shoulder. If you are landing like that in the water than you must either get more pop off the wake or speed up your rotation. Load the line as you edge into the wake and then straighten out your legs completely and look over your lead shoulder as you edge through the wake. Good luck!

I learned the backroll before a 180 or any of the other starter tricks out of the line of progression which is not recommended. I just wanted to be able to do a flip. It is probably the easiest trick you will learn. Your rotation on the trampoline looks just like mine. You are doing the progressive backroll. It is like a reverse cartwheel motion. Just take a medium cut into the wake. Stand tall all the way through which is key to getting the pop. Throw your shoulder up and away from the boat and hold on to the rope. The rope will do most of the work for you. Good luck.

Your upper body is almost horizontal before you even leave the tramp. Other than keeping the line close to your hips, you have great rotation. My suggestion would be to wait just a second longer before you initiate the rotation, and then just really focus on keeping your elbows tucked in and looking over your lead shoulder. Looking good!
