Clarion CCUMRA1?? where to buy, or how to make??
I recently installed my Clarion M309 in my boat and am now faced with a remote problem (which i was expecting). the 6 pin versus 8 pin din connector debate. After some googling, I found they did make an adapter at one point. I cant seem to find it anywhere in the US. Anyone using this adapter? where did you buy it?
In the second page of this thread, someone took the liberty of posting the pin numbering. A guy could make one fairly easy. Anyone done this?? http://www.mastercraft.com/teamtalk/...ad.php?t=42029 http://www.clarion.com/ca/en/product...441769747.html figured one of the audio gurus on this site have some inside info :-) |
all the audio wizards on here and no response... come on!!!

ccumra1 cable adapter
I found these cables on e-bay in the USA. It only took 4 days to get it and it was made in the USA.
It cost me a total of 61.90 |
just searched that part number on e bay, looks like a guy had one made and some extras to sell.
I did a "home made" conversions, I have 2 wired remotes, helm and transom. My main function I really wanted was volume and it works at the helm but for some reason not at the transom which seems odd as the "home made" conversion happens after the splice. Could very well be something with the transom remote or the wiring between the Y splice and remote. Nice find though!! |
