Best site to look for a new used tow rig?

I want to have a look around for a decent tow vehicle to seat 6 easily & has to be diesel. What should I be looking at? What are the best used sites? Its only got to tow my Sanger 215.

found mine on cars.com. I picked up a 2002 Suburban in beautiful shape for 8k. Craigslist is ok, but still a lot of scammers. Cars.com has a good mix of private owners and dealers listing there.

OK, time to part with my 02 Excursion Limited. 7.3L Turbo Diesel, 4X4. Many many options and only 72K miles. In the pics are the Weld Evo's with 305 x 22's but I have the orginal tires and wheels also. Garret Turbo, HID lights, 15" montitors + + +. Awesome rig! Oh yeah, seats 7. Edge Juice programmer.

Go check out www.dieselplace.com
Read up on that site.
Look for a 2006 LBZ......first year with the 6 speed Allison tranny with tap + - They also don't have a DPF on them. That's what I own and love it!

how much Duane?

nvsairwarrior 04-12-2010 8:34 AM

Only $24k. I've got some more pics and can provide the component list (if I can find it). Anybody that's serious can give me a ring at 408-569-6040. I'll probably take it to spring ride if you want to check it out.
These rigs have become quite proplular with this motor and Limited package and seem to be going for near 20 stock. Obiously all the other extras are way way more the the extra 4 I'm asking. The fact that it has less then 75K miles is a big bonus as well. That being said, I think 24K is a steal.
