well, the money has exchanged hands and this boat has a new owner. now, i just have to figure out how to get it from dallas to san diego. road trip anyone? seriously, i'm heading out there at the end of july and coming back early august. might try to stop in AZ on the way back.

now i just have to sell my X-5 (which is also a very nice boat). take a look on the classifieds page. great boat, good price, motivated seller!

I have to drive there anyway to see my sister....you got a tow vehicle?

Marty, pretty soon the only boats here on the water are going to be Bus and SSV's

Is that a team edition or just a reg. SAN?

zigzagsd 07-05-2003 1:31 PM

marty, i figured you guys would take it to the river for one last ride. maybe i'll get one day in dallas to come ride with you guys.

mark, it's not the team, but has the team edition prop, wedge tanks, and a center bag. might as well be.

rich, i'll be driving my tahoe out there to pick it up.

mcfly 07-06-2003 1:32 PM

You know, I didn't even ride in a boat on the river this weekend. I rode for about 45 seconds until a slight mishap occured..

Oh well..there are more of those where that one came from!

McFly

Hey congrats and thanks John. You will love the boat! You won't believe this weekend alone, I got 5 unsolicited compliments on the boat. 1 even came from someone with a brand new black 2003 Xstar. Kind of weird how that stuff happens right after you sell it! I'm going to miss it but I should have another some time soon. And yes Rich, it will probably be another SAN.

Marty are you going to tell the people how that happened?

bill 07-07-2003 5:21 AM

Dustin whats up with selling your boat so soon???you havent had it that long and i didnt even get one set behind it !!!

I see how you are

bill 07-07-2003 5:22 AM

BTW Marty what happened to your board, you hit our sliders down there??

mt_hed 07-07-2003 6:50 AM

are your sliders made out of knives or something?

mcfly 07-07-2003 7:11 AM

Haha..its what happens when you hit a slider that was not as sturdy as it seemed. I haven't had any problems with the sliders that are knocked in the ground and are super sturdy, but we built a 40 foot quickie that shifted on me when I hit it.

McFly

John - congrats on the purchase! I have ridden behind Dustins boat more than a few times and can tell you that it throws a world-class wake. You will be very happy with it.

Let us know when you get to town - maybe we'll all catch a set on the local lakes.

Count me in, John. I'm trying to stoke AJ up on the idea as well.
