Been looking for a new boat this summer and searching for the last month. Have my heart set on a black w/red accent and platinum graphic Supra SSV loaded including Perfect Pass four tower speakers, Amp, Red Bimini Top and custom towable boat cover. Loaded, I mean ballasts, shower, heater, etc. Talked the dealer down to 45k. Is this a good deal for a zero hour boat? I value your guys impute. This seems to be a great site. Thanks.

Jason

It all depends on your location? Here in So-Cal, that would be a decent price for a new 2004 (w/dual wheel trailer included). I was quoted 50K for the same boat.

(Message edited by rmarion on June 27, 2004)

Sounds like you are getting a good price if that includes the bigger wake bags. No other deals will be around until the late fall, if you like the boat get it.

Yes, price includes trailer w/disk brakes and break a-way hitch. Bags total 900lbs. I don't know if those are the bigger bags or not.

I'm in Salem OR.

Yep sounds about right

FYI, that's not the bigger bags...the stock 3 bag ballast should actually be 1000 lbs (500 center, 250 in each rear), the Gravity Games upgrade would be the bigger bags...double that weight (1000 lbs center, 500 in each rear).

jon_a 06-28-2004 2:25 PM

stock system 400 in front, 250 in each rear. gravity games is 1000 up front and 800 in each rear.

Um, I've got an 04 SSV and it's not 400 in front, it's 500. And I emailed back and forth with Mike at Barefoot International who provides the Gravity Games Edition sacks and they're 500 each in the rear.

if you're comfortable with the price, get it! i bought an 04 ssv in april & LOVE IT! i opted for the orange color scheme. i wasnt sure at first, but figured all the other SSVs are blue, red, and black---so get something different! i've received more compliments on this boat than the other 2 put together. and the gg bags are a must have. about the price-- if u feel good about it and can afford it, do it. there will always be some clown who'll say "u could've got it for ......". just my opinion.

Chuck,

I'm the one guy with a blue SSV, but it was the only color available at the time. My first preference was orange. Do you have a pic? Would love to see it!

Shmitty

Do you have a picture of your boat Chuck j. I would like to see what the orange looks like.
